Hailing from South America, Canxan, also known as Nargusta, varies in color from a light to medium brown with a golden cast. Occasionally, dark reddish brown streaks highlight the heartwood. Canxan has a beautiful natural luster with a straight, uniform texture and grain pattern. It can be difficult on our axes but it glues and finished extremely well. Due to it's high natural luster, Canxan works beautifully on sculpted gear.
